Read a few posts talking about Ed Steven's web site. They all go to a site that has been shut down..is it available anywhere else? Thanks.

A lot of the random antenna design and hardware hacking sites I use have a tendency to go down and never come back, so I use it a lot when I find broken links on a page that generally refers to useful info.

The 1997 version is http://web.archive.org/web/20070208043738/members.aol.com/Stvns/XJhelp1.html
I have the more current versions (English, French & Spanish, I think) but have not found a place or the energy to host them in a new location. As I drag more of the toys out of mothballs I may get the enthusiasm to post them again, after I replace the A/C compressor on the XJ and get more wheeling time (comfort is important).
