I replaced the fuel tank on my wifes 95' and the OEM tank has a pocket welded in the botom for the fuel pump foot to sit in. The aftermarket tank does not have any sort of pocket for the foot to sit in. So what to do? Leave the foot right off or what? I already painted the tank, so I got to use it.

I had this same issue years ago. I went ahead with it and have not had a problem
Did you leave the foot right off?
