The original rear axle in my 92 cherokee was a dana 35 with c-clips. I picked up another dana 35 with pressed in axles. What years did these axle come from and will I have to change my E brake cables to get the brakes to work? Thanks guys!

Dana 35 non c-clip - 27 spline, 1.18" diameter shafts, 7.58" ring gear, 2.62" axle tube - used 84-89

Thanks for the info guys. The front axle from the donor jeep that I used dosent have the vac disconnect. My first cherokee was an 89 and It came with a dana 44 and had vac disconnect on the front. Maybe my 89 was a carryover model. Does anybody know if the E brake cables are the same between the smaller diameter drums and the bigger ones?
