8.25 RuffStuff Cover leaking

I was finally able to install my front Dana 30 diff cover and chrysler 8.25 ruffstuff covers. The front is fine but the rear is leaking from the bottom left side. I cleaned all mounting surfaces and used Felpro gaskets. I have also checked all bolts and everything is extra tight.

So, can I just add a bead a RTV around the cover to stop leaking or do I need to drain the fluid and try a different gasket or glue. I have the drain plug and recessed bolts if that makes any difference.

Not a problem, I have the RuffStuff covers on 2 of my XJ's and use the LL's on both of them with no issues. I also have the recessed bolts and drain plugs.

Check the cover to see if its warped,Ive still got an 8.25 cover sitting on the shelf thats unusable.
