Will a front end skidplate off a early 90's XJ fit a 98? I found one at the junkyard, but I don't want to bother pulling it if I can't get it to work. Any help will be appreciated.

OE skidplates

All the basic questions have been asked and answered already. Using the Search function will usually turn up the info you need.
Front and Tcase skids fit all years.
Gas tank skids fit either 1984-1996, or 1997-2001 ( steel tank or plastic tank). Some people have modified one type of gas tank skid to fit the other type of tank.
