I am trying to install new LCAs on a 98 grand, (same front susp as an xj) and the gottamn driver axle side lca nut is frozen solid. ive had it glowing orange a bunch of times then hit it with multiple oils and waxs and had 550ftlbs on it for 10 minutes at a time...im stumped. Id just cut it but the parts dept of my stealership isnt open today...HELP!

if you have the means to cut it out with the torch, do it

Are you sure that the nut's not welded in place after all that?

Cut it, go to hardware store, replace.

Broke 2 nut splitters, one 21mm deep impact socket, and went through 3/4 of a tank mapp/oxy.....finally got the basterd out. Thanks guys.

ok now the other side one is stuck, got the nut off but the metal sleeve in the bushing im pretty sure is rusted soild to the bolt not allowing it to be removed. the only reason i dont cut it out is the cams on the bolt. how inportant are these cams? can i go without them?
