Wheel Cylinder Upgrade

I was watching Xtreme 4x4 afew weeks back and a project they were working on, they upgraded to a larger wheel cylinder. They said that this would be the best upgrade short of going to disks.

Does anyone think it's worth while? Does anyone know of an off the shelf replacement/upgrade?
 
Just buy an extra set of brake shoes and replace the short ones with long ones so that you have long shoes on both sides of each drum. This made a noticable difference on my rig.
