I called the guy about some parts. He quoted me prices that were way to high.

He wanted $50 per shaft on the front, or $150 for the whole D30, and he wanted $25 for the aux. electric fan.

I told him that was a little steep and he got cranky.

I was at a junkyard and the guy quoted me $75 for an electric fan. I laughed and left.

I paid $15 for an aux fan at the junkyard so $20-25 doesn't sound too far out of line. But the D30 shaft price is way out there.....if I could get that kinda $$ for them I'd have already pulled every one at the local yard.

I emailed him about the D30 shafts myself this morning. Haven't heard back but I guess I've got my answer. :)

LOL at les' his prices are way high, and very cranky. I went once, got quoted one price, was told I could pull it myself, then after a an hour or so of lying in stones (vehicle was still on the ground) got the driveshaft out and brought it up to pay for it, the price went up $50 bucks.....I got it for the original price cos I raised hell, but the principal is there...
