Stock Transfer Case Skid Installation Question

Picked up a stock transfer case skid at the JY yesterday. What's the best way to install it? The 99 I removed it from had threaded holes in the frame rail and the crossmember, my vehicle does not have those. Is there any way to duplicate that?

Pick up some grade 5 bolts, and serrated flange nuts, I went with 1/2" dia. in order to get a large flange surface at the nut.
Drill the holes out in the skid to accept the bolts... line it up to the unibody, and duplicate the holes...
Tape the nuts to some cloths hanger wire and fish them into place from existing holes thru the unibody "frame"...

Thanks. Think I'll try the "fishing" method first. If that doesn't work, I guess I'm going to need to find a place that carries rivnuts.
