while bleeding the brakes (with engine off), the pedal kinda holds but eventully goes to floor. With engine running, there is no pedal. Any ideas?

Air in system, external leaks or bad MC.
Did you start with the PS rear, DS rear, PS front, DS front?

Assuming that there are no leaks anywhere, it sounds like a bad master cylinder. If it's air, it should be spongy, but still hold.
