Temperature Readout Stuck!

Hey guys,
Couple days ago the readout on my overhead console got itself stuck at 78°F/26°C. Now, I live in Washington, and it hasn't been near 78° in quite some time. Think the sender just died and it's stuck now? If so, where's the sender hiding at and what years will have the same sender?

EDIT: Oh yeah, '92, 4.0, AW4, NP231, 8.25, 30" BFG ATs, and a dent on the driver's door.

id just try un hooking battery ..and pulling the fuse for it ..let it sit ..then hook back up and see

It's dead center behind the front bumper. Try option "A" first (see above).

Maybe it froze when you put the dent in your door. lol But yes try the others first and see if it doesnt fix it.
