Um swap what with what?
You can swap a 3.4L into it.
Need alot more info carmuck

I lost the main link, but it had info on beefing up the 2.8L as well as troubleshooting them and which blocks were better than others. (internally balanced later models with wider rods bearings are superior to the ones Jeep was sold till early '86)

Yea but you have a GenI block dont go and get a GenII Block. Certain things wont fit, I'm not shure on the specifics but I know that alot of stuff is different.
