BTW what the hell is this? It had a speedometer and looked like it was a streetable car at one point, and it had a rear mounted four banger, a real old one that looked like one of those WW1 torpedo engines

I think the airbag should of have deployed.

However, if you look at the wreck, it looks as if it was a side-impact.
Almost as if it slid sideways into a big tree and hit where the passenger's side mirror was.
Or maybe got t-boned by a train???

Some airbag sensors require quick forward-movement deceleration.
I don't know if a quick lateral deceleration would do this or not.

i was hit in front corner by a bronco doing 45+ and my airbags didn't go off. it has to be hit at the right angle

they might have been broken too, was the airbag light on :D

.Look closely the car had been wrecked before and bag had been replaced. It is not the same color. Probably never even hooked back up.

I might have to go see if they will sell me the whole car so I can rebuild it. :looney:
