does anyone (especially in the maryland area) know where i can get my new bfg's siped?
i saw that discounttire does it but they do not have any stores in my area.

Find a guy who drives a DIRT car he will likley have a sipe iron.

you can also groove your tires with that,you just have to get the proper blades

That's not really what he means. I think he means have the 1/8 or 1/4" cuts every half inch. They do it out west a lot. keeps the tires cooler in the summer, and improves snow and ice traction.
I haven't seen or heard of anywhere on the east coast doing it.

I went whole hog when I siped my Destination MT's. I used only 2 blades.

just retract until only 1/4" sticks out then sipe away!
