Mine is from Nate's4x4 price was right, and it is tough as nails. I have bounced it off of tons of things without so much as a ding in it. However, it does reduce approach angle quite a bit. His newer ones are much better though, they don't stick out as far.

I run an OR-FAB Winch Bumper. I LOVE it. It's taken some serious beating without issue. It used to be one of the cheapest bumpers available, too, but the price has gone up on it.

Take a look at the DIY Kit from Iron Scorpion. It is about as nice as it gets and you save a ton by welding it up yourself.

It's pretty good. I lost a bit of approach-angle (mostly from the roller fairlead) but not enough to cause me major issues. I imagine I could get a bit of it back going to synthetic line and Hawse fairlead if I cared enough.

This one looks like an AJ's bumper.

The first is most likley homemade. I wanted very high clearance and better approach angle. The only one out there that met the criteria was this one (http://www.moab4x4outpost.com/XJBumpers.html) but it is very expensive so I made my own.

I run a Warn Rock Crawler. For the most part I like it put as with any winch bumper on an XJ you loose some approach angle.

HDR = High Dynamic Range
I am not that smart on the subject so I cheated. I looked it up...

› What is Dynamic Range? The dynamic range is the ratio between the maximum and minimum values of a physical measurement. Its definition depends on what the dynamic range refers to.

For a scene: ratio between the brightest and darkest parts of the scene.

For a camera: ratio of saturation to noise. More specifically, ratio of the intensity that just saturates the camera to the intensity that just lifts the camera response one standard deviation above camera noise.

For a display: ratio between the maximum and minimum intensities emitted from the screen.
