ABS light and no start... again

ok i thought i fixxed this a little while ago with a loose ground wire, but its back.

i have a 2000 XJ which i recently swapped the power seats for manual and now when i turn the keys to "on" i get all my lights, radio everything works. but when i turn my key over to actual start my jeep i look my radio and the engine doesn't turn over. theres no clicking noise or anything, but my ABS light flashes on. this pissing me off because it will randomly do this. like after i start it and move it into the garage. it wont start again, then maybe in an hour or so it'll start again. my jeep is my daily driver and i'm stuck with no vehicle at this time.

tested battery, checked all the fuses all were OK

tried to start in neutral it started... either my NSS is going out, or something else

Well, will it consistently start in neutral???

If just starting in park is the issue you probably need to clean and lube the NSS--see here:
