OEM Clock ?

I have a factory clock out of a 87 or 89.... Do all XJ's have the plug or do I need to hard wire?

I grabbed a clock out of the JY and tried to find the wiring in my 94' and either I missed it or it didn't come with it.

I don't believe my '93 had the plug. In any event it was easy to run wire(s) over and tap into the head unit leads.

the factory clock option stopped in 91. pre 91 xjs will have the factory plug for the clock of their model year. there are different clocks (and pluggs) based on model year. you can wire in a clock without much effort even without the factory plug by tapping into the radio wires. see http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoDashClock.htm for more info.

i have a 91 clock with added indicator lights for my backup lights and my offroad lights added to it in my 95 xj (my pics are the last two in the above link).
