Not tired of breaking D44 hubs yet though? Why not just use 60 spindles and hubs? That's been done plenty of times and there is a lot of info out there regarding the subject.

Ditto, can't imagine needing KP's and then trying to retrofit 760/19 spline junk! :roflmao:

Check this thread: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=97884&highlight=Jeff+98xj+WI I'm in the process right now. However, I do plan to use all 60 stuff from the tube ends out. I know, it won't be one of those fancy light weight things, but I'll have 60 u-joints, 35 spline shafts, king pins (which I think are beefier than my D44 Ball Joints), lockouts (which I still like even though they'll stick out a ways), and a high pinion diff (even though it is a comparably small 44 center section.) How are you breaking ball joints? Separations, shearing of the stud, or simple wear?

Ditto, I and many others, are plenty hard on our junk, including a fair amount of high speed stuff, and I've gone through 1 set of BJ's in 5 years.

I even broke a D-44 spindle, and the BJ's survived.

Are you driving on broken joints? Are your axle tubes straight? Are your inner "C's" straight. The last is really hard on BJ's if they are not straight!

I hate to say this but I would suspect the inner Cs being bent before the knuckles.

Your kidding right? There is very little traction on vertical ;)

Only 4 XJs (that we know of and have been 'buggied') have been able to do that waterfall. The picture doesn't even do it justice.
