AAL AND SHACKLE

I was wondering if adding a shackle with an aal will take some of the harshness out of the aal ? Good or bad Idea ?

I'm also curious, I have a 3" aal kit and I'm adding a 2" shackle/coil spacer, I'm using the 1.5" setting on the shackle and I removed the stock isolators... I will tell you how it turns out. I got to spend a couple more day in the garage

a longer shackle ADDED to an aal won't make any difference in ride quality. you'll still have the same spring rate. a shackle INSTEAD of an aal would most likely be a "nicer" ride.
