re monotube shocks

Hey peeps, anyone else running RE monotubes and get beat up on the highway/country roads!! I got a 4.5 4160 lift which I Love-flexes like mad -but my choice of shocks was apparently lacking. What have you guys ran that soaks up the bumps on road?
 
I had some procomp hydros, worked pretty nice, but got warm and wouldnt work as well, tried edelbrock,what a joke) now stuck on bilsteins
 
I got a set of monroes on mine... Def an improvement over the RE twintubes. I liked the RE monotubes I had on my tj, just expensive. Bilsteins that I ran on my truck were money- they were kinda inexpensive too, less than $300.
 
im sure you could find monroes long enough to fit too- just threw a set on my xj this past weekend. they are actually a nice shock, compared to the twintubes i had from RE
