I'v read on another Forum (Expedition type forum) once the new road gets built they will be banning all commercial and large trucks from using it. Leaving it to the adventurous...i'd much rather come nose to nose with another SUV coming around some of the blind curves than a lunatic in a semi.
I have a buddie who found out he's afraid of heights....and shelf roads when we ran Imogene. I dont think he'd wanna join me in a trip to Bolivia!
I only caught the second half of the show, i want to record it next time.

I say they should form a sanctioned race like Pikes Peak.
First one to survive wins.
Just a thought!

watching that show last night they were talking about a guy who was on the bus with his wife and kid. Their bus went over the edge dropping 2000 feet. It killed his wife and they couldn't find his kid.
He went back on another bus to look for his kid and THAT bus went over the edge. Now he is considered bad luck and there are some of those people who won't ride on the bus if he is on it.
I don't think I would either.

Yeah twice and what makes it worse is the second time he was on his way up to look for the body of his son who died in the first crash.
