Thats right folks... I found the keys to that dog of a jeep. I must still love me because with just a jump of the battery, it fired right up and was able to drive off the trailer that it had been parked on since last NOVEMBER! Can you believe its been almost a year since I "lost" it?

If you remember, this is how I had it as of November of 05'. Was completly wheelable, but just was tired of it. Tried to sell the thing even! My dad said he would go into it with me if I would not sell it. So we got a trailer, and parked it.

I am not showing you what I have done exactly, but if this picture shows whats going on... thats all that is needed! Remember, its got to be "done" for JV in november.

So since you'll be done this weekend that means you'll be at my place next weekend to get my junk done?

Matt S.
October 18th, 2006, 23:01
Uh... no G.

I still will have to install new axles, fix a few things, trim the main wiring harness down, and add some padding to my seat. I want to try to get the fabbing done this weekend, not much more. Need to build a diff cover, steering, and install a SBS kit. After I have done the necessary things... I am chasing wieght.

Plus I want to go wheeling at Hollister on the 4th. I also have to finish another jeep I have been building for a friend so his is ready for JV! whew.... to much stuff!

Its 99% done as of tonight. Will be bringing it home to my garage tomorrow to start the massive weight loss program:flame:

Progress as of today..

Homebrew kickass differential cover, all new steering, pitman arm and knuckle mods for steering, and drove it around to make sure nothing was going to break.

Tomorrow I weigh it and see how much thick the pig is.
