noise in reverse

My daughters 97 XJ has a noise when she backs out of the garage. It only happens when the she is turning in reverse. It sounds like something is binding up. Any ideas?

does it have the factory limited slip?

I know it has a chrysler 8.25 Diff. How can I tell if it has limited slip?
I had a suburban years ago that I had to put an additive in for the clutches and come to think about it thats what the noise sounds like.
Is there a way to tell?

check all the u joints. i had the same problem and it turned out my rear u joints and transfer case seal were shot

Thanks I will check them. did this problem give you noise in reverse only??
