The moose is loose....

On the way out to meet up with the Geostash crew, Rook1 and I found this young moose tangled up in a fence. Sorry the pictures aren't so great, it was still quite dark. We were prepared to cut the wire on the fence but we were able to free it fairly easily without having to cut it.

Who knows how long he had been there....

where was he at? and was the leg injured?

He was right there before the turn off the main road to camp. Maybe 1000 yard before the turn. Leg didn't appear too bad. He limped a little, but he was using it.
