REALLY could use some help :)

I posted a few days ago about a mystery leak from my tranny. I found the leak, results are bad.

Turns out where that flat plate for the tranny mount goes, right above that on the back side, the tranny corroded and theres a crack!

Anyone have any advice(aside from a new tranny.) as to sealing this up? I tried some 3M metal epoxy, but it's still leaking. I can chisel all that shit off and try plan B, but i dont have a plan B yet.

Sand down surface a bit, and try JB weld. Worked on the aluminum fishing boat that got a few cracks in it. Hasnt leaked yet.

You could also take it to a welder, and have them weld up the crack. Probably the best fix besides replacing the case.

Id weld it and have then build up the weakened are to help prevent future failure

Buy a used tranny and be done with it

Thats the thing. I just had this all apart to do a clutch, so I'm in no hurry to tear it apart again.
