Pulling rear door Panel

My pass. side rear door handles won't won't work. I want to take off the inside door panel to see what is broken. I've taken out the screws on the handle plate and the armrest. I pried on the bottom lip and expected it to pop off but don't want to break anything. Am I doing it right?

Well I just let her rip and got it off. The problem is the "CHILD LOCK" isn't working or rather it is working all the time. I tried it in both positions and it won't allow the inside handle to work. Everything else seems OK! Any thoughts?
