Moronic

So I put white face gauges on my...gauges, ya. Well I screwed up the orignial tach because I'm a MORON and tried to remove the needle when putting the new face on it hahaha. So I got the new tach and installed it.

Now every once in a while when I start up and its running I have no reading on the gauge, but once I start going it jumps up to normal...another faulty gauge, or am I over looking the underlying problem?

Loose ground somewhere?

year make model? is your gauge cluster plug in loose?

oh ya, I'm an idiot..its a '92 XJ. I haven't checked the plug...but its just the one plug, wouldn't that cause all the gauges to not work if it was loose?
