Hey,
I have just recently bought a 96 white XJ, It is my DD, but i also am getting into some Off highway driving, I have been to the Coves/ Butcher Jones. Right now it is stock, but i am looking to get about 3" and run nothing bigger then 33"s i also want to get some lockers, and other little things, im not looking to make it look Extra-ordinary or anything.. just a fun/ clean DD/ Trail XJ

I actually just got it back from the body shop, i was in a hit and run in QC the prick just drove off leaving me with $1700 worth of repairs needed

Im Glad to be on these forums, its nice to have a "support group" to go to when i need help or am looking for parts Etc.

its been 5 yrs for me and my Comanche...still got ALL of the sheetmetal...i refuse to cut mine up :)

You gotta take it wheelin before you can cut it up or change much! Oh and yeah i didnt realize jeep made fiberglass/sheet metal fenders lol!:laugh2::roflmao::flame:

Your Jeep is in really nice shape. Don't molest it too much. You can have a capable trail vehicle without tearing it up, and still have it look nice as a daily driver. Good luck with your build!

its healing... But I'll likely break the wound open again before its all better.
Once you go wheeling on the rocks you realize how fun it is to not care if you get scratched and beat up. I didnt plan on beating mine up, but after the first good dent... wheeling has never been so much fun!
Hope to see you on the trails! :)

yep I said the same thing about 5 years ago 33's max and keep it clean now I run 36's and 44 fullwidth front and rear 5.38s to go with it and Im covered in dents and its still fun...

Hey at least it is still fun! I am hoping mine doesn't get all dented and dinged, but after five years, if i am still wheelin' this XJ in AZ i might consider chopping and caging it. :hang:
