Front end body work. . .

So now that ive successfully rebuilt my front drive shaft im on a modification rampage. My next addition is some JKS quicker disconnects. So to compensate for the added articulation of the tires i have removed the front fenders and will be cutting the body to provide more clearance. Thing is i noticed what looks like maybe the horn assembly or something that seems to come down pretty low in the front. After looking at some pics of other xj's it doesnt look like any of them have this. So does this mean i just take it off or what?

i never did or had any problems with the horn !!? i did bend it up just to have more room ?? is it a d.d. or just a trail truck ? if so take off ! or move it ? never was a problem for me !!
