I also have a buddy that does small jobs, anything from short pipeline trackhoe work to bobcat sized stuff. Let me know if you want info for a second bid or whatever.

If it's small stuff, you can rent a bobcat or tractor pretty cheap, I did that to build my parents a retaining wall then backfill it a few years ago in Layton. Ran about $200 for the day, IIRC.
