Hey Fellas,
I'm replacing the shocks and all the broken shock bolts on my 2000, and I'm wondering what I should replace the stock bolts with. Any thoughts? Any particular grade, maybe stainless, or just whatever from the local hardware?
Thoughts or ideas from experience welcome...
Thanks!

Be careful if you go with stainless nuts and bolts. Be sure to always use anti-seize with stainless on stainless fasteners.

For those that don't know, stainless steel will gall and stick together and you are left with either cutting it appart or hoping it twists apart when you try and remove it. Been there, done that.

Use grade 8 bolts and use antiseize. Antiseize prevents corrosion, and should be used on all bolts on the outside of the XJ.
