how can i move my seat back

i have a 89 four door and im feeling kinda folded when i drive it
so the question is can i just take the seat out and move it
back drill holes bolt it back down? mabe reinforce the floor if needed
 
If you reinforce the floor pan or build suitable brackets, there should be no reason why you can't move the seat back a bit.
 
Dunno about the 89 but on my 98 there is a stamped channel piece going from trans tunnel to rocker that the seat is bolted to - it's spot welded in place, not easy to move.
 
i am talking an 01 and i am going to put it between the rail and seat not the floor and rail. I will post some pics when i do it.

going camping and wheelin all this week so wont be for a while
