I know i only have a 2.5L but i was wondering if there is anyway i could get some type of dual exhaust system. I hate the way one tip looks. So i was thinking of maybe a dynomax muffler with single in/dual out and maybe get a shop to bend some pipes so i can get the coming out the rear. Is this possible? Will i lose performance. I really like Borla tips. Any suggestions? Thanks?

It is definately possible. If you are just more or less looking for duals for the sake of duals. A muffler that has two outputs would do the job. A good muffler shop can bend you up some 2.25 from the muffler back fairly cheap. I would think of maybe going down to 2" for the 2.5L, but It probably would not make a big difference.

on my last toy i cut the exaust right behind the maifold. there it splits in two. i than ran 2" tube that thing sounded like two motorcycles racing down the street.

What if you just hung a dummy tip for the visual appeal? That way you wouldn't have to mess with re-routing the exhaust.

Well if im gonna spend the hundred bucks for the Borla tips id like the secong tip to be functional. So what do you think this set up would run me, not including the tips? Thanks again

Functional!?! It's a 2.5L ;)
I say your best and most cost effective solution would be a 1 in / 2 out muffler and get some pipes made.

Sounds like an awful lot of money just for a visual trip.
As for loosing power, you'll probably loose some low end due to less back pressure.

Although minimum, Dont forget the extra weight.
Dual Exhaust is for V style engines with 2 manifolds, but im sure you already knew that

LOL, this one is much better than my dual control post. :)
If you're serious, why? You want to look like you've got a V8 but when a Honda pulls up next to you he's gonna blow your doors off. And we're all gonna feel it. If you want dual mufflers install a 350 & have something to back it up.
Viagra & a 2" peni, now that's funny.

my opinion is to go with the dummy tip. since its only for a visiual effect, its not really worth hasseling and rerouting pipes. your not going to gain/loose anything by makeing the 2nd tip functional. go with the dummy tip, and keep the extra jingles in your pocket.
or save up for some nice crome tube rock rails:D
