Hello, I found a little ball thing behind the front bumper when I took it off. I searched and found out that it is the Vacuum Cannister. My problem is that there are no tubes going to or from it. I searched on how to hook it up, and read that there is supposed to be a tube that comes from it to a T fitting adn one from the firewal to a T fitting, and something else. I looked and I think that I found this T fitting and it has a couple tubes going to it, one is from the fire wall, and I can't remember where the other one comes from, but it snakes around. There is also a small tube that goes from the T fitting to the top of the shock that sticks throught he wheel well. How do I properly hook the ball back up. I looked at a picture of a vacuum diagram, but it didn't help much.

Thanks

Just keep following it around down the passenger side of the engine bay. When you get to a vacant t-fitting hookup, or a busted vacuum tube, you know where the problem is.........;)

does the vacuum canister just have one hole in it or multiple ones? I have an idea of using a stainless steel float off of a Keckley float valve that would hold up a lot better than plastic. Only problem with that is that the ball is about 8 inches in diameter.

What will it hurt if I don't run a vacuum canister?

Actually the air flow will alway be coming out of the defrost vents, no matter what the slide is positioned to. JIM.

Find the broken line and plug it with a screw for now

On my 92 air always comes out the defrost on start up. Then when it gets enough vacuum built up the air goes where it is supposed to go according to the slide. I'm pretty sure it is a cracked line. JIM.
