Electric Fan

Hey guys, I have a small problem. The electric fan won't turn off when i shut off my 97' XJ. It just keeps on running. First time it happened was a couple days ago, and all I had to do was turn the electronics back on with the key and it shut off. It happened again today and that trick didn't work, however if I drive around the block with the AC off, it shuts off. Any suggestions? Im taking a guess in saying that there is a relay that has gone bad.

This is the radiator fan, right? Yeah, could be the relay sticking. Never heard of that happening though. That is in the box under the hood.

Im going to pop out the relay tonight and check it out. Was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before

Yeah I'd try the relay. Same thing happened on my dads '87 a few years ago. The relay stuck so the fan was on constantly and he had to unplug it when he shut the jeep off.
