hey everybody
im about to install another rear main seal this weekend. i did the last one about a year ago, and i dont know if it was a junk advance auto seal, or my fault, but it started leaking a few months after installation.
this time i got a better seal from napa, and im hoping to not have to mess with it again.
anyways, just want to make sure ive got it all right. torque specs, where RTV goes. ive heard put soap on the seal to make it easier to install, but would soap dry it out eventually...how about oil to both sides of the seal to slip it in?
thanks
