Before leaving on a wheeling trip a couple of weeks ago, I was up a creek when I finally realized it was my control arm bushings causing my death wobble. See here:
http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1001334

Even though Rob and I had never met before he volunteered the use of his press to help me replace the bushings. So I went over there and we swapped them out together. He went above and beyond in spending an hour+ of his time to help me get it done. Especially considering that he just returned from Iraq not long ago and has a whole garage of his own projects he's working on, including his own daily driver that he'll need when he returns to work. So, thanks Rob!

I'm not as active with NAXJA as I'd like and I don't know a lot of people, but I feel like I can always come here for answers or for help. And that's the NAXJA factor to me, and that's why you'll always see my name in red.

They were! And we couldn't figure out a way to press them out cleanly, so we ended up pressing out the rubber part and then cutting/hammering out the sleeve. But it was short work with the two of us.

Those bushings were a pain in the butt until we worked out a good system. I hope replacing the bushings solved your problems.

I have received help from several guys on NAXJA, and FrankZ has gone above and beyond for my wife and I. I had the opportunity to return the favor to someone here on NAXJA; and when the opportunity arises again, I will do the same.

They did. Flying over some big bumps at 70 mph with no death wobble sure is a relief!
