Need Help Finding Clutch

I've got a 90 XJ 4.0, AX-15 and I can't find a clutch for it anywhere, I can find it for older & newer years and ANY year for a 4 banger but none for my drive-train&year combo...WIll a clutch from a H.O. 4.0 Jeep w/AX-15 work on mine?

I'd imagine that the clutch for a 90-94 AX-15 would work, maybe one for a later year as well. The shop that put a new clutch in my 90 with AX-15 five months ago seemed to find one okay.

The only difference between clutch kits for the Peugeot (BA-10/5) and Aisin (AX-15) is the connection on the throwout bearing/slave cylinder. I just swapped in a 1989 AX-15 into my 1988 using the Peugeot clutch kit, and didn't have any trouble.

I don't have a catalogue handy to give you part numbers, but I don't see why you should have any significant trouble finding your clutch... The only difference between AX-15 clutches, by the by, was the conversion from internal slave to external sometime around 1995/6...

bought my "luk" clutch from clutch city I think it was. they have a store on ebay, 220 shipped encluded plate, disc, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, and slave cyclinder.

I have a used clutch and pressure plate with at least 70% life left from a 94 ax15.
