shock keeps comming off

I have a 97 with a RE 4.5 lift w/ome shocks, and that 2 bolts that hold the top of the right rear shock keep comming off (ive fixed it twice by now), leaving the shock to kinda do an upside down dangle. I've fixed it 3 days ago by replaceing the 2 bolts and using locktight red again, but last night those bolts came off , so i was like screw it and took the whole shock off. Now i need to figure out a perminet solution. Whats the best way? -Thanks, Travis

are you saying that the bolts backed out with LT RED???!

The threads in the welded in nuts are stripped. (retapping not much of an option) You need to use a bolt nut combination or weld in a bar pin eliminator like Rocky Road's.

once you have rethreaded it. try it with a larger heavier duty washer or you could try a lock washer. and if all else fail WELD!!!! jjk
