4 inch pack with stock shackles

or

3 inch pack with jks shackles.

Ride differences? I've heard it both ways. Anyone with a convincing line of reasoning?

Stock shackle doesnt allow for much flex and the flatter the pack the better..less arch in pack. and gettin that good shackle angle is also important for ride and flex
