hack n tap on a 2door

Im going to do a hack n tap on my 96 xj soon and am trying to get my part list together. I have been layed off for a few months so I am trying to do this on a very tight budget. I have read you can use a front drive shaft from a auto xj and use it as your rear. Well my xj and spare shafts are at a friends house so I cant measure for myself and was wondering if anyone knows if I can do the same for a 2 door?

yup, the "chassis" is the same for both the 2 dr and 4 dr, the only differences are in the "body"

Only diffrences are auto vs manual trans.

Thanks for the quick replies that is great news. I wont be doing it for a week or so and I was planning on following one of the many hack n tap how to's. Is there a certain write up that stands out above the rest anyone can recommend?
