Tune-Up Help

Its time for a tune-up, among other things. But I pulled the plugs and they were worn. Previous owner had used NGK R spark plugs, Wires fall apart when you pull on them.

I have been told champion is the way to go.
-Platinum?
-Double Platinu?
-Copper?

What wires to use? I was told not to go with pre-cut set, but to go with MSD make your own?

What to use for a cap and rotor. Been told doesnt matter whatever works?

So Im calling on my team at NAXJA for some recommendations.
93 Cherokee Sport 4.0L HO. Looking for the most recommended but still reasonable for the wallet. Thanks in advanced

Just get the straight Champion plugs. Basic nothing extra plugs.
I've never had a problem with pre-formed plug wires as long as they're from a reputable mfg. that I trust; usually buy Accel or MSD.

Accel and MSD make great plug wires, but really not needed for an XJ.

Buy quality wires but don't go nuts, and then change them more often.

buying regulars replacements from a part store always help me usually auto zone for the more cheap stuff cause if something breaks down quick replacement for free is always a option but plugs and wires i have no complaints i usually change them often also though
