U-Bolt Torque Specs (RE)

I put a 3.5" RE lift on the XJ. I have noticed that the rear u-bolts on the axle seem to loosen up. What are the torque specs for these things?

I took it wheeling today for the first time since the lift, and the rear spring seemed to make a good amount of popping noises...the stock springs didnt. I checked the shocks, they are tight, the SYE and DS are tight, and the eye bolts on the rear springs are tight. I'm thinking the noise is coming from the springs mounted up to my 2 degree shims.

52 ft lbs,Is one spec they change for some different years.If you have larger aftermarket bolts you can increase the torque.
The noise you hear is probably from the different material in the spring bushings.

Its also not uncommon to need to retorque your hardware after initial break in. Mine needed attention for a few trips, since then no problems.
