My front sets about inch higher than my rear. I was thinking of putting a .75 of an inch shackle to level it out. My question is, If I use the shackle, will it cause my rear to sag more? I have a 2" inch aal installed in my 13 year old springs, which gave me a 1 1/2 inches of lift. I was told that using a shackle and aal wouldn't be a good idea. I wouldn't think it would cause it to sag or have negative effects since it's only .75 of an inch. What's your opinion? thanks

the concern of additional sag caused by a shackle is only realized if you over flex the rear and don't have adequate bumpstops.

Hit a junk yard and pick up set of springs off a 97+, up country if you can find one. Those springs gotta be tired after 13+ years.. might want to look at the spring pack from the side and see if any are broken..

How about building a bastard leaf pack or buy a set of RE 3" leaf springs. Or a new set of JC Whitney springs and reuse the AALs.
