1-3 rigs, anyone ever done this before? (is there some kind of deal doin more rigs at once?) from CT to the grand junction area in CO?
i basically have NO concept of ball park rates, and i dont really want places calling me and emailing me all the time with quotes right now as its still way early in the game for me..
basically lookin for others experience/suggestions with something like this, not something ive ever undertaken before.

when i was out at school in wyoming, i shipped my jeep home when i graduated. i had to drive it down to denver, but it was dropped off in canton, only one town over from me, at one of their locations. expect to pay for extra charges like oversize tires, i was a couple of inches under their max hieght with 8" lift and 35" tires. all in all, i think the final price ended up being just a little bit more then my projected fuel costs, but at the same time is was cheaper because i didnt break anything, my front wheel bearings woulda died, didnt have to stop at hotels to sleep or buy food and supplies on the drive. my mom researched some different shipping people and found a good one, ill see if i can dig up some of the info on it.

just google "automotive carriers" and a bunch of stuff pops up.... just drive your junk!! you'll appreciate the experience.
i know some guys who sent 6 rigs out to Moab from up here several years ago. it was cheaper to book the round trip ahead of time and let the truck driver hang out with them all week than it would have been to organize 2 seperate freight transactions. i think at that point it was just under $1800 per vehicle for the entire deal.
just replace the hubs and drive it.....

Not cheap....
I've looked into having stuff brought to CO and CA....you're really better off driving....unless you know someone. Maybe I wasn't looking at the right companies, but I got a few quotes and they were way more than what I was thinking would be reasonable.

Train would def be cheaper, but usually 3X as long.
