Coyote Lake trip 10/27/06

There's a few of us going up to Red/Coyote Lake on Friday the 27th and coming back Sunday. We'll be in Toyotas (my XJ is way too stock for this trail) but, anybody is welcome to join. If you're not familiar with the trail, it's about 5-6 hrs north of LA (just southeast of Fresno, above Shaver Lake) and I wouldn't run it unless you have at least 33s and a rear locker. They're closing the gates Nov 1st (if it snows they'll close earlier and this topic will be moot!) so, this is my last chance to get up there this year. Post up if you'd be interested and I'll post the meeting arangements once I get them hammerd out. Oh, yeah, it's going to be really COLD up there so a warm sleeping bag and clothes are a necessity!--------Hans

we are locked front and rear and ready to roll by the way its matt, i will be running it with 32's. my driving skills will make up for the small tires, and im sure people will spot mee...azusa was fun a few of you guys should try and make it out..

Theres a good possibility here for me to show up. I am in the middle of truck shopping, as long as I don't have to go pick it up that weekend, then I'm in.

Well, if anybody is interested, it looks like it's a go. I'm meeting some friends at the "Flying J" truck stop (off of the 5 at the Frazier Park off ramp) at about 9:00 am Friday, the 27th and we'll be leaving from there. So, if you're in, that's the place to meet. The only thing that could change, is if they get snow up there and close the gates early. I'll check the day before and post up if there are any changes. So, check here before you depart. Hey, John, if you're still thinking of going, you pass by my place on the way out and we could probably ride out together. Let me know-------Hans
