Mt & Grt Sat. Jul 18th @ PA Jeeps Show!!!!!!

Hey,
If your coming to the PA Jeeps Show in York, Pa., head for the left end of the large grand stands at 2:30pm, near/above the bathrooms. It sounds like quite a few of us are going, so we might as well catch up for a little bit. I'll have a VERY few NAC-Fest t-shirts with me (if I have any left by then), as well as the event dash plaques too.

It looks like the mass of the local flava is going to be there on Saturday, so lets plan to meet up then. I'll have a few other things to hand out to any red members too.

At last year's event, I noticed there were a few stands that made custom vinyl decals. If I recall correctly, they could fill your order in like a half hour or so.

Anyway, I've been kicking around an idea for a few weeks, and decided I might as well bounce it off you guys. I personally run the NAXJA on my rear window, and was thinking of having a small decal of my user name made to add beside it, or even below it.

I know there's a 'line' with decals, and I figure my idea may be close to crossing it, haha. Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah.... it was bigger than ever. We had about 10 or 12 NAXJA members meet up at 2:30, so it was a good group. I let everyone know about another "unofficial" event coming up.... the rest of you will just have to wait and see. :shhh:

I don't remember when the last time was that I saw sooo many Wranglers in the same place before... LOTS of vendors too, and tomorrow there should be a few willing to "make a deal". I have found in the past that Sunday is the better day for wheeling and dealing on parts.

The weather was prefect too, it was a great time. You should have good weather tomorrow too.

Sorry I missed you guys. Went up around 10 with a few buds, spent some money and then ran home to get ready for my buddys annual Jeepshow party. Had hoped to be back to York by 2:30 but it ended up being around 4.
Went with a spending budget in mind of $100 and spent close to $250. But got a really good deal of an engine skid in the Quadratec tent. $140 for a Skid Row unit so I couldn't pass it up. Also picked up some deflators, a front diff skid and a new receiver shackle.

If anyone made it to the Quadratec tent around 3, they were practically giving away some 48" hi-lifts...talked 'em down to $40 a pop. The fella said they were only making a dollar on each one. I said I'll take two, haha.

Anyway, it feels like I saw more than a few :NAXJA: members today...seems like we need a secret handshake or something. But it was def a good show this year...much more impressive than some years past.

I was expecting the thing to negotiate the rocks pretty easily, I didn't expect it to make the rocks look like they weren't even there. It was rather impressive.
