i will be heading down to the badlands late sat. camping and wheeling on sun. i will be trucking around the green trails (still new to this) also trying to get my brothers durango out there but he is being a sissy for now

if any one wants to meet up and run some trails or hang out by the fire sat.night let me know i was thinking about going to the summers camp ground but i will also be with the inlaws and there 4 wheelers so we might stay at the badlands camp insted, i will know later in the week for sure

Just an FYI if you feel like sleeping the night before wheeling, i would suggest against badlands campground. I've been to summers, and its a nice place. Lots of relaxed campers there. I would be good for wheeling sat. but not sunday. Man its been awhile since i been out to badlands. I'm starting to go through withdrawl!

If you aren't aware, this is the weekend of Zookimelt. It may be more crowded than you are used to..I've heard the campground by the front entrance is out of hook up spots. Just sharing...

thanks for the heads up i was going for primitive camping anyway also still trying to go to summers


Phil i cant make it early enough to wheel sat. my wife works and she ant calling off (waitress get paid big on sat mornings lots o tips) so thats why i will be wheeling sun

Just an FYI if you feel like sleeping the night before wheeling, i would suggest against badlands campground. I've been to summers, and its a nice place. Lots of relaxed campers there. I would be good for wheeling sat. but not sunday. Man its been awhile since i been out to badlands. I'm starting to go through withdrawl!

Its not bad at the BL campground unless it rains. I have not been to summers yet but I've heard its mighty nice there too.

yup, all things suzuki. previous years they've said hundreds of people show up, but in the past few it's dropped off. stories of how crowded the close campground was. not sure last years numbers, and i've heard it'll be less this year. officially the event is through sat but i know some of our guys (CORE) are planning on running on sunday as well since they're up there.

if you get a chance to pull any zooks out, you have to post pics...

I wouldn't underestimate those little boogers! They are pretty capable when built right!

There will be roughly 200+ (so we were told) zukis this weekend. I will be there with my shops zuki. and it has a chevy engine no burn rice lol.

Yeah I'll post up a thread if I am still going. He is just enjoying being home from Iraq so the date could change......again.

Im back ya miss me?

the campground was sloppy i guess it got done raining about an hr be for we got there, it was hard to start a fire cause every thing was wet, i guess thats why a guy is the next isle started his 4 wheeler on fire, he had it parked close to his fire pit and poured gas on the fire when the fire started up so did the 4 wheeler.

ill get to some pics when there done uploading :thumbup:

the mud smelled sweet as usual :D

hung up on the axle pretty good so i pulled him off, and back up that hill

every time i upload onto photobucket it scaders the pics up so ill just post some up, proably something im doing wrong

Wow, looks like you guys had a blast. Good thing you got there just after all the storms. I've been there when its rained, and EVERYTHING was just slipperier than jello on ice. So i can sympathize with the wetness. But you made the best of it and WHEELED! I'm gonna have to meet up with you guys one of these times when you go.

Not to bad. Shop vac it out and let it dry. When i first got home and parked it i saw stuff dripping on the ground. Top radi hose sprung a leak, easy fix though. Oh also had to get a new air filter. Im ready to do it all over again lol.:D
