How to get side view mirror glass out?

If the glass is removable you can get it off with a blow dryer and some brute force.
Old style units have the glass glued in place and it will shatter if you try to remove it.

Why not get a new glass with the adhesive backing? You can get universals that you trim (cheaper) or fitted ones (more expensive).
