I have respect for Her, I am an Alaskan and she has done a very good job. Good? Why. Of the political field I liked her the most. I thought Joh n McCain was a douche till he picked her.

Her reasoning was interesting. She said that her admin had been crippled because of all of the legal battles that were thrown at her, she stepped down instead of wasting more time and taxpayer money. It's pretty bold to give up all that power when everyone just expects "politics as usual".

While I don't agree with all of her beliefs, I certainly respect her more than Obama.

But what I really wanted was the chance to vote FOR someone and not Against a socialist.

In multiple interviews in the campaign she called herself a maverick. Thats a scary thought but I doubt her gearing will accomplish anything. There are way better qualified republicans and hopefully someone that can clean up the mess obama will inevitably leave behind.
